The Space Grant Foundation has been around for a little while now doing some sweet stuff, and I think it’s about time to recognize them. Here is how it works: money is given to each state for “programs to support and enhance the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education in their state.”
Start here, and click on your state. You should be brought to your states space grant home page. Then try and find a link about “participating schools” or “participating companies” and see if anyone you’re affiliated with is part of the program.
There are some pretty sweet things going on with this money. Schools are sponsored to do competitions, and companies are sponsored to do cool research. I encourage you to try and find out if you can get involved in any way with this program.
