This is excellent news for the STEM-supporting community. Apparently Metro Early College High School students prefer Discovery channel over MTV.

“Among my friends ‘ dork‘ is not used as a derogatory term,” said sophomore Madeleine Varner. “You have to be really smart to be successful in this global economy.”

At least some students are getting it. Face it, who doesn’t love seeing something being blown up?
