In 2010-11, over 56,976 students were enrolled in U.S. universities, making China the largest exporter of undergraduates over any other country. Because the U.S. still maintains its integrity in post-secondary education, many Chinese are pushing their children to attend top U.S. universities. They hope for a better education and the potential option to live in the U.S. after school.
